Milan (pronounced me-on) is a proud country with a rich history. While much of the country lives by "the old way" with all the inherent ups and downs of a society ruled by its heritage, the newer generations are much more progressive due to the advent of mass-medias, such as the internet. While hate crimes are not common, the country does possess some of the ignorance typical of a largely ethnically homogenous nation. Milan possesses one of the strongest economies and militaries in the world. Milan uses a parliamentary system with an honorific royal family.
